Abu Dhabi Islands

There are numerous islands in Abu Dhabi offering different activities for the visitors. The majority of the islands are flat, sandy and uninhabited, but each has its own character.Both Saadiyat Island and Yas Island are under development at the moment. Saadiyat Island is planned to become the cultural capital of Abu Dhabi while Yas Island is home to Yas Marina Circuit and an 18-hole, championship-ready, all-grass Links golf course.

Yas Island

Yas Island is the new sports and leisure centre for United Arab Emirates. It is located only 30 minutes away from Abu Dhabi, and is the Formula One circuit. A visit to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi makes an unforgettable excursion.

Bu Tinah Island

This island which is located approximately 130km west of Abu Dhabi, is part of the Marawah Marine Biosphere Reserve. Bu Tinah Island with its horse-shoe shaped looked preserves rich marine and terrestrial ecosystems.

Al Reem Island

Al Reem Island is only 600 meters away from Abu Dhabi's coast and it will be one of the most eye catching tourist developements int he world. The island will feature hotels, restaurants, gardens, museums, an aquarium, amusement parks for children and a diverse wildlife reserve.
